Dr. Fabiola Sosa-Banda obtained her dental degree in Venezuela, soon after she enrolled at the Universidad Intercontinental in Mexico City, where she obtained a Master’s Degree in Orthodontics. After several years working as an Orthodontist in Mexico City, Dr. Sosa-Banda relocated to Katy, Texas and decided to pursue her passion of becoming a dual-trained dentist to provide the best comprehensive treatment to her young patients. She received her Pediatric Dentist certificate from the University of Puerto Rico, during the 2-year program; she obtained extensive training treating children with special needs, as well patients with dental traumas.
Dr. Sosa-Banda loves to educate and inform her patients, parents and caregivers about the importance of preventing oral health problems. She believes in community service, over the course of her career, she has worked with Cleft Lip and Palate patients, volunteered in Venezuela, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the United States. Her working experience in four different countries makes her a perfect fit for patients coming from a diverse multicultural background.
She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and the American Association of Pediatric Dentist. In her free time, Dr. Sosa-Banda enjoys spending time with her husband and her son Little “C”, practicing Zumba and exercising outdoors with her dog Cody.
