Dr. James Theodore Spiger
Dr. Spiger Bio
- Dr. James Theodore Spiger was born in Colorado. In his teen years he was proud to call Spokane, Washington to his home along with his mother, father, and two brothers.
- Dr. Spiger is an alumni of Washington State University where he received his Bachelor Degree in Biology. He attended Case Western Dental School in Cleveland, Ohio where he completed his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree in 2008.
- Dr. Spiger is an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and the Greater Houston Dental Society.
- Dr. Spiger enjoys spending time playing golf, traveling, wood working and watersports. Since calling Houston his home in 2011, Dr. Spiger has become an avid fan of the Texans, Astros, Dynamo and Rockets!
Dr. Ana Maria Piedrahita
Dr. Piedrahita Bio
- Dr. Ana Maria Piedrahita was born in Colombia, South America. When she was 17, she first moved to the United States, settling in New York before heading down to study in Florida and eventually landing in Texas.
- Dr. Ana attended the University of Florida for her Bachelor’s Degree and Doctorate: She received her Bachelor Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2008 and her Doctor of Medical Dentistry Degree in 2012. She is a proud Gator!
- Dr. Ana is an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, the Greater Houston Dental Society, and the Houston Hispanic Dental Association.
- Dr. Ana is the proud mother of three amazing boys. She has lived in Houston for 5 years and is loving it more every day. After living in different cities across this great nation and the world, she feels that Houston is the right fit for her family and is proud she can call Houston the hometown of her growing boys.
Dr. Helson Lasanta-Luna
Dr. Helson Bio
- Dr. Helson Lasanta-Luna was born and raised in Puerto Rico. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and a Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Puerto Rico.
- Then he moved to New York to complete a General Dentistry Residency at the Montefiore Medical Center. He was offered a position as Chief Resident during his second year of residency with a focus in endodontic treatments and periodontal diseases.
- After that, he came to Houston, Texas for a job opportunity and found his passion about working with children. Some of his favorite movies include Dr. Strange, X-Men movies and Toy Story. Dr. Helson speaks Spanish and English to better serve his patients.
Dr. Diane Lee
Dr. Lee Bio
- Dr. Diane Lee was raised in Slidell, LA, a small suburb outside of New Orleans. She attended college at Rice University in Houston, TX and graduated cum laude with a major in Biological Sciences. She subsequently attended the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. At Harvard, she was the recipient of several awards including Exemplary Service Award and the Outstanding Student Leader Award for her work in improving access to dental care for individuals with special health care needs.
- Dr. Lee completed her pediatric dental residency at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia/University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where she received extensive training in hospital dentistry and caring for medically compromised patients. After her pediatric dental training, she decided to return to TX to be closer to family and enjoy the warmer weather. Dr. Lee is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
- Outside of work, Dr. Lee enjoys traveling, eating/trying new foods, and spending time with her family and friends. She is excited to serve her Houston community by providing high-quality patient centered care.
Dr. Gregory Poindexter
Dr. Poindexter Bio
- Dr. Gregory Poindexter was born in Detroit, Michigan. He is an alumna of the Clark Atlanta University for B.S., Meharry Medical College for D.D.S., and NYU Langone for specialty in Pediatrics.
- He has two kids: Jasmine and Jeremiah and he loves crossfit and traveling.
- Dr. Poindexter went into dentistry, specifically pediatrics because he loves kids and will always be a kid at heart. Early childhood caries is one of the leading diseases in this country and he wanted to do his part in giving kids a healthy smile.
Dr. Sharareh Pisheh
Dr. Pisheh Bio
- Dr. Sharareh Pisheh, board-certified general dentist, always wanted to become a doctor. She chose the dental field to help her patients be confident and happy with their smiles. Dr. Pisheh received her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Houston and went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas at Houston. She loves working with children because it brings out her inner child. She can play, sing, and have fun with her patients while treating their dental issues.
- Dr. Pisheh is honored to be a part of children’s oral health; she especially likes to make the first dental appointment a fun memory. Dr. Pisheh and her husband, Kevin, have a daughter and a dog together. As the mother of a young child, Dr. Pisheh treats her patients as if she works on her own, utilizing her best skills and knowledge. In her free time, Dr. Pisheh enjoys cooking, running outdoors, and watching Netflix. Her favorite place to vacation is the beach, and her favorite food is pizza.
Dr. Linh (Monica) Galvez
Dr. Galvez Bio
- Dr. Linh (Monica) Galvez was born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and came to the USA when she was 18 months old. After living in two other states, Dr. Galvez is happy to be living in Houston, Texas with her husband, son, and dog.
- Dr. Galvez is an alumni of the University of Texas at Dallas where she received her double major Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Business Administration. She then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCA) School of Dentistry where she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
- Dr. Galvez got into dentistry through her love for science and desire to help people. Dentistry is rewarding to her because not only is she fixing teeth, but she is improving a person’s quality of life.
- Outside of dentistry, Dr. Galvez enjoys photography and extreme couponing. She also enjoys serving the body of Christ at North Houston Baptist Church.
Dr. Goolla
Dr. Goolla Bio
- Dr. Goolla studied at Houston Baptist University, where she earned her BS in Biochemistry & Cellular and Molecular Biology. She then studied at UTSD Houston where she earned her title of DDS.
- Dr. Goolla used to be afraid of the dentist, but she became one herself because she felt that she could give back to her community in a meaningful and empathetic way through dentistry.
- She enjoys talking to her patients and learning about their lives so she can make a positive connection with them while they are in her chair. Dr. Goolla’s husband is currently in his OMFS residency, and they have 2 beautiful children, Arjun and Anjali along with a sweet dog named Echo! Outside of work, Dr. Goolla enjoys woodworking, painting, shopping for antiques, and being a goofball with her family!

Dr. To Bio
- Dr. To studied biology at the University of Texas at Austin where she got her BA. She then became a DDS after studying at UT Health Houston.
- As a child, Dr. To loved going to the dentist, which inspired her to enter the profession herself! She loves working with her hands and is very detail-oriented. She enjoys working with kids because they always say the funniest things!
- Dr. To and her husband have 2 children who are both busy softball/baseball athletes! They enjoy watching their children play sports, and are always on the move getting them to and from games! They also enjoy trying new restaurants around Houston and outdoor activities. In her free time, Dr. To enjoy baking, sewing, crafts, and weekend trips to Austin!

Dr. Ton Bio
Dr. Ton became a dentist because she is passionate about helping others, serving her community, and improving her patients’ oral health and overall quality of life. She loves working in pediatrics because her patients are full of light-hearted energy and are a joy to be around! She believes great oral hygiene starts by teaching good habits at an early age, and she loves being a part of that process. Dr. Ton comes from a big family of seven, and is a proud aunt to lots of nephews and nieces. She enjoys baking, reading, hiking, gardening, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She recently settled in Houston to be near her family and is so excited to start a new chapter here!

Dr. Peiravani Bio
Dr. Peiravani became a pediatric dentist because she recognizes the importance of preventative care and the lasting positive impact she can have on her patient’s overall health. She provides an enjoyable, personal, and informative experience for each of her patients to ensure they get the most out of each visit and enjoy coming back to see her! She volunteers her dental expertise during Give Kids a Smile Day providing free dental services to children in need. In her free time, she loves swimming, playing water polo, cooking, and exploring new restaurants in Houston!

Dr. Stacy became a dentist because she loves using her skills to craft beautiful, healthy smiles for all her patients. She enjoys getting to know her patients and their families and connect with them on a personal level! Dr. Stacy and her husband have a son named Theo, and they love taking him to the zoo, exploring parks, and trying new foods. She also enjoys baking, Pilates, walking, and being out in nature. Dr. Stacy grew up in Indonesia, so she is an island girl and enjoys vacationing on the beach. Her favorite foods are any type of noodles and ice cream!

Dr. Mathew Bio
Dr. Mathew enjoys working with her hands and loves that dentistry is a form of both art and science. It brings Dr. Mathew joy to be able to make patients feel comfortable and help them appreciate the process of positive change that she can provide for them. She and her husband Dylan are both involved in their church community, love to explore the city as foodies, and enjoy live music. Dr. Mathew enjoys staying active, traveling, and spending time with friends and family while enjoying a “night in” watching movies and sports.

Best Children’s dentist possibly in the Houston area. My kids love going with him he makes visits so much easier. Dr Helson is very knowledgeable, honest kind, funny and never have had any issues with the work or treatment he has performed. All the staff is very accommodating and nice. In our last visit Marcos went above and beyond to help us and make us feel at ease.
Our son did amazing at the dentist. This is a proud moment for us as parents. After he cried all the way there, we finally calmed him down. The girls were amazing & made him feel safe. The doctor also treated him with care and love. Everywhere, relationships matter. He will forever remember his 1st big boy dentist experience.
This was an awesome experience….the office was very professional and the procedure was completed by Dr. Goolla and Marco quicker than I expected. They talked him through the procedure and kept him comfortable throughout and he went through this with flying colors. We received a thorough explanation after it was over and I was very impressed with their service. Would definitely recommend for children.
Such a cute environment! Receptionist were very friendly, Selena made our visit very thorough and special! very quick service! We found the perfect dentist for our little one.
